Interesting Inverness, Portrait No.10

It took a while to get this shoot organised as some of the girls work but we all converged on the Eden Court on a really cold December day. My thanks go to the girls for braving the cold with only tee shirts on.

Emma Jack, Becca Yorston, Erin McGregor and Kirsty McClelland who sang in the BBC Children In Need Scottish Choir.

Interesting Inverness, Portrait No.8

Marion had been suggested as a potential candidate for the Interesting Inverness project by a friend. I could describe what makes Marion interesting but I’ll leave it to the person who nominated her.

“Just saw your post about Interesting Inverness on Facebook and thought I’d suggest my friend and work colleage for it.  Her name is Marion Scott and she is a local Radio Presenter for MFR hosting Sunday Nights on MFR. She adores this job and gets to meet so many interesting people and bands.  She was even a Mecury Prize judge in 2010!

She is also covered in the most bizarre tattoos, one including a packet of fags on her foot!!  As for the unusual pets she has one of those bald Devon Rex cats called Jack!

If all this wasnt enough Marion works with me at a local charity called the Shirlie Project and currently works with young people helping them build their confidence and also helping them make decisions so they can move forward in their life.

All in all she is one of the most interesting people I know, (with the most vibrant ginger hair :)

When I asked Marion the caption she wanted under her picture she said “Marion Scott, face for the radio!” I even came away with a couple of CD’s to listen to!

Marion Scott (and Jack), face for the radio.

If you’ve never tried cupcakes before, you now have the chance. Just opened at 25 Grant Street is Bakerri’s, owned by Kerri Johnston. Kerri makes the most amazing cakes and, having tried a couple myself, I can thoroughly recommend them! She has a website as well at www.kerriscakesnbakes.co.uk

We couldn’t do our project without including this guy. He came up with the design for our graffiti wall.
