Finding the right Professional Photographer instead of an amateur snapper for your special day can be quite a daunting task. If, like most other couples you’ve looked around other sites, you’ll see that there are a myriad of different Photographers each with their own style. Some, like us, are full time professionals. Others unfortunately are out to make a bit of money on a Saturday and may not be the best choice when it comes to photographing your big day. At McIntosh Photography our tagline is “photography just that little bit different” and our wedding photography service follows this ethos.
Firstly, we want to get to know you. This may sound a bit strange but, we believe that meeting up with you and finding out what makes you tick is vitally important. That’s why we have a pre wedding shoot so you can get to know us, we get to know you and we can discuss how the day will run whilst shooting some pictures so you get used to the camera and the way we work. It also gives you the opportunity to discuss any special images you may want. This photo shoot can be at a location of your choice within 10 miles of Inverness or at our purpose built studio “The Green Room” in the West End of Inverness.
The other service we offer, and this comes with all of our weekend wedding packages, is our wedding detail package. Planning a wedding is quite a task and it’s the small details that you’ve spent ages looking for and getting just right that make the day really special. Too often, pictures of these are taken on the day but there is no guarantee that the photographer will capture everything. Why not gather everything up, shoes, ties, cufflinks, kilt pins, tiaras, earrings, your dress even, you get the drift, take them along to our studio and we’ll photograph them away from the pressure of the big day. It’s also another chance to have a chat and, if you want, model some of your wedding finery.
